RABBIT

There are many breeds of rabbits! Learn about breeding, handling, showing, health and disease, pedigrees, record keeping, marketing, and careers. This is a great entry-level project for someone that is new to showing livestock.  The timeframe for a Rabbit Meat Pen project is roughly six weeks.   

 You’ll learn about the basics of how to care for a rabbit, including proper nutrition, and safe handling.
